No that's right cause Unitt & Yankey played in the same league a couple of seasons back for the Wildcats and the league final was in early August.

Not a big transfer at all but Meg McKeag has left Arsenal for Chelsea. I wonder why so many academy players are leaving at the moment...

I know there is unrest as well do to bad management method It is weird because she is a left back and that's a position where Arsenal struggled this season

I'm very surprised they have let Meg go as she's a good left back in a position where they have an obvious weakness in the squad...maybe things will become clear if they sign a new left back...equally it seems an odd move for Meg if Sophie Perry is staying at Chelsea as she is also a very good left back and Meg might struggle for games. Perhaps Sophie is going to Arsenal and then it would all make sense..Somehow I suspect it's not going to be that simple

Strange how many Arsenal players have ended up moving to Chelsea. I only saw Megan play in one match but she did look a decent young talent. Think the reason why she ended up leaving was because she didn't get a chance in the first team even though they had so many defenders injured.
I think a fit Leanne Champ will do well for Arsenal at left back. She certainly hasn't let us down in the past. The player I was sad to see go was Hayley Kemp last season as I thought she had the natural talent to do well for us. Always a shame when a young player gets injured for so long.
I think I'm correct in saying that Vic approached the French left back last year but she didn't want to move so I suppose he might attempt to sign her again.
The player I would like to see come to Arsenal is Kim Little from Hibernian. She is really young but has a big future in the game.

Kim is in her Higher year (A Levels down south, or do they still exist?) in fact she was sitting her chemistry while she was in the Ukraine for the Euro championship game. Once she gets her qualifications through (just a few more weeks now, ha) she'll be looking for a college and I've heard the University of Liverpool is quite good especally if she was to pursue a career in a science based field. I did read a bit about her in the Scotsman recently in which she says she's happy playing with Hibs.... "In the future I would hope to play either semi-pro or perhaps full-time professional, but just now I am happy with my football and I just want to concentrate on my games with Hibs and Scotland."

All these young Arsenal players going to Chelsea is a joke. I've watched a couple of Chelsea games last season and they have a really good squad, i would thought they would add a few experienced players to their ranks but all these young players are not going to solve their problems and make them better.

Yes my money would have been on Chelsea signing a couple of experienced players to go with all of the undoubted young talent that they have....They have some great young players and now have even more but there is perhaps a bit of experience missing through the middle of the side to hold it together...

You are right she had a trial one Thursday evening session during the season while the French league was off, but it came to nothing apparently.

If they are better than the Chelsea players that played this season they will obviously improve the team.

So why are they bringing them in, unless Chelsea are set to lose a lot of players and this is them shoring things up before the dam bursts.

For example Danielle Buet is a lot better at center mid than Laura Cooper Lizzie Edwards or Katie Owen IMO her distribution range is wider than those 3 players. Sian Larkin is also better than most of the Chelsea players.
